Skillosophia is a Swiss-based, early-stage SaaS start-up. Skillosophia’s proprietary assessment platform is a pioneering force, utilizing a human-focused model to evaluate intangible strengths such as communication, creativity, and emotional intelligence. My role in this venture centered around the revitalization of the user interface, with a focus on UI/UX design.
My direction:
Previous version pictured above.
In overhauling Skillosophia’s UI/UX, I transformed the interface from a restrictive, linear structure—characterised by numerous screens and limited options—to a dynamic, application-style experience. Departing from the conventional slideshow-esque design, the new interface resides on a single screen, consolidating inputs, outputs, and various options.
To infuse a fresh, dynamic feel into the platform, I conceptualised an interface that mirrors a conversation with the virtual assistant ‘Sophia.’ Drawing inspiration from familiar chat apps like WhatsApp and iMessage, I sought to create a user experience that is not only efficient but also feels conversational and familiar. The introduction of a hamburger menu, accessible at all times,  further enhances the user experience.
This not only enhances user engagement but also provides a more intuitive and efficient workspace, resembling the seamless functionality of a sophisticated application.
Staying true to Skillosophia’s identity, I meticulously refreshed the interface using their existing colour palette while expanding it with carefully chosen additional colours that seamlessly complemented the original scheme. The purpose of the large,  blurred logo as a constant backdrop throughout the website is to add some depth and a modern touch.  The goal was to evoke a sense of continuity while infusing vibrancy into the user’s visual experience.
Skillosophia has now also been optimised for mobile use:
